François Pannier, curator of “Nepalese Shamanic Art” exhibition at the ICI – Magazzino del Caffè, Venice.
Since 1983 François Pannier, with his gallery Le Toit du Monde, is devoting to the Himalayas different cultures: animism, shamanic, hinduism, and buddhism. He tried to promote the culture from Nepal, Tibet, Sikkim, Bhutan, Ladakh, Himachal and Arunachal Pradesh, organizing exhibitions and events. In fact the main goal of Le Toit du Monde gallery is to let show these so unknown traditions and let people to appreciate them.
Renzo Freschi, independant researcher, photographer and director of Renzo Freschi Oriental Art Gallery in Milan.
Renzo Freschi is known in Italy and abroad too for being one of the most professional operator in this sector. Enthusiastic lover of Oriental cultures, he shows in his gallery artifacts of value, organizing exhibitions and collaborating with scholars and researchers.
Stefano Beggiora, professor of Cultural Anthropology, Ethnology and Ethnolinguistic at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
Stefano Beggiora, is a researcher at the Department of Asian and African Studies. He has been awarded by the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) for study project about the poet Rabindranath Tagore. Beggiora has been invited by the Indian Gouvernement to present and discuss his work in Dehli during the 100 years of Nobel Prize.
